Wels Zoo and People's Park (Tiergarten and Volksgarten)

The oldest zoo in Upper Austria, founded in 1930 in the city's People's Park, with around 90 animal species and a long tradition of breeding parrots. Entry is free all year round, and the zoo is surrounded by playgrounds, a pond and the paths of the renewed park.
