Town Square (Stadtplatz)

An elongated square about 500 metres long at the heart of the old town, lined with 64 townhouses with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque facades. Behind them are arcaded courtyards from the 16th and 17th centuries, some open to visitors, with the Ledererturm closing one end of the square and the parish church the other.
