The Museum of Art History is one of the most significant art museums in the world, housed in a lavish building on Maria-Theresien-Platz. It holds the vast Habsburg collections, including works by Bruegel, Vermeer, Raphael and Titian, along with Egyptian and classical antiquities. The building itself, with its marble staircase, is a work of art.
