Bioparc Valencia is a modern zoo built on the principle of zoo-immersion, where barriers are hidden so that visitors feel they are inside the habitat itself. It is devoted largely to African ecosystems — savanna, equatorial forest and Madagascar. It lies at the western end of the Turia Gardens.
