The Wilhelma is Stuttgart's zoological and botanical garden, the only one of its kind in Germany, with around 11,000 animals and a rich plant collection. It occupies a historic 19th-century complex built in Moorish style. Alongside the zoo, visitors can explore glasshouses, parks and themed gardens.
