Museums · Stockholm
The Vasa Museum holds the 17th-century warship of the same name, which sank on her maiden voyage in 1628 and was raised almost intact three centuries later. It is the most visited museum in Scandinavia, famous for the imposing and remarkably preserved wooden ship. It stands on the island of Djurgården.
