The Viktualienmarkt is a historic open-air market in the centre of Munich, just off Marienplatz. Around a hundred stalls sell fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, meat, cheese, spices and delicacies, as well as souvenirs. The market also contains one of the best-known beer gardens in the city.
