Melbourne Museum is the largest museum in the southern hemisphere, with displays on natural history, culture and science. Its exhibits include a dinosaur skeleton, an exhibition on Aboriginal culture and an enclosed forest of living plants. It stands in the Carlton district beside the Carlton Gardens.
