Tower Bridge is one of the most recognisable bridges in the world, opened in 1894 across the river Thames. It is known for its two Neo-Gothic towers and the bascule mechanism that raises the roadway for ships. The exhibition in the towers includes high-level glass floors and the Victorian engine rooms.
