Mur Island (Murinsel)

A shell-shaped artificial “island” in the middle of the river Mur, designed by New York artist Vito Acconci, also from 2003. It is 47 m long, links both banks with two footbridges and holds a café and a small amphitheatre. At night it is lit by blue lights.
