Styrian Armoury (Landeszeughaus)

The world's largest historic armoury, with about 32,000 weapons, suits of armour and pieces of equipment. From the 15th to the 18th century Styria was on the border with the Ottoman Empire, so defence equipment was stored here - the floors are still arranged like a storehouse of that time. It stands on Herrengasse, next to the Renaissance Landhaus with its famous arcaded courtyard.
