Main Square and Town Hall (Hauptplatz)

The heart of the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. The Town Hall and the Archduke Johann Fountain stand on the square, and Herrengasse, Sporgasse and Sackstraße branch off from it. The city's tram lines cross here, so it is the easiest starting point for a walk.
