Town Hall and Porcelain Carillon (Rathaus Gmunden)

The town hall stands on the square right on the shore of Lake Traunsee. A porcelain carillon hangs in a loggia on its facade, made by the famous Meissen manufactory and painted in the traditional Gmunden decor, because local ceramics could not be used for bells. The melodies change with the seasons and can be heard from the square.
