Paddle Steamer Gisela (Raddampfer Gisela)

A historic paddle steamer from 1871, named after Emperor Franz Joseph's eldest daughter. It is driven by an oscillating steam engine that can be watched from the deck and sails on Lake Traunsee on Sundays in July and August; the rest of the lake fleet runs scheduled services between Gmunden and the lakeside villages.
