The museum of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising on the Domberg hill, whose collection is the second-largest art collection of the Catholic Church in the world after the Vatican Museums. It spans works from the early 5th century to contemporary art, with a focus on Byzantine art, late Gothic and Baroque, plus a large collection of nativity scenes.
