The Zeil is one of the best-known and busiest shopping streets in Germany, in the centre of Frankfurt. The pedestrian zone runs between two large squares, Hauptwache and Konstablerwache, and is packed with department stores, fashion chains and specialist shops. It is the city's main shopping destination and easy to reach by public transport.
