The Eiserner Steg is a pedestrian bridge over the river Main connecting central Frankfurt with the Sachsenhausen district. It is about 170 metres long and built of riveted steel lattice. The bridge is a recognisable symbol of the city and is known for the countless love locks fixed to its railings.
