The Chicago Riverwalk is a pedestrian promenade along the south bank of the main branch of the Chicago River in the heart of downtown. It runs through the central city and offers restaurants, bars, places to rest and departure points for boat tours, including the famous architecture cruises. The walkway is public and free to visitors.
