The Adler Planetarium was the first planetarium built in the Western Hemisphere and stands on a peninsula by Lake Michigan with a celebrated view of the Chicago skyline. It offers dome projections, interactive exhibitions about space and a rich collection of historic astronomical instruments. It forms part of Chicago's Museum Campus.
